Registration

Online registration for the conference has now closed. Registration will open at 9am on Thursday 12th September, followed by a welcome talk at 9:30am.

Accommodation

The conference will be held in the University of Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall suite in Glasgow's West End. Accommodation can be found through the usual websites (Airbnb, Booking.com). The University of Glasgow also offers a limited amount of accommodation in certain halls of residence. This can be booked directly through the University on their website, which also provides links to recommended hotels

The Hunterian Tour

Places are now fully booked for the tour of the Hunterian on Wednesday 11th September. The tour will take place at 4pm. Please aim to get to the reception at “The Hunterian at Kelvin Hall” 10 minutes before the tour is due to begin. Please do not go to the Hunterian Museum which is in a different building! Beastly Poetry

There will be an evening of poetry on the Thursday at The Butterfly and the Pig pub in the city centre, with a number of invited poets performing. The event will be free and open to the public.

Conference Dinner

There will be an optional and informal vegan conference dinner held at Saramago Café Bar in the Centre for Contemporary Arts in the city centre on the Friday evening. The cost is £32.

Kelvin Hall

All of the main conference events will take place in Kelvin Hall. The address is:  University of Glasgow at Kelvin Hall, 1445 Argyle St, Glasgow, G3 8AW. There will be signs and volunteers to greet you on the day. Directions to the poetry event and the conference dinner will be provided in your conference pack.
